As a result of a several years of study and discussions with the Community, the Naperville Park District’s new Knoch Park Central Maintenance Facility provides a single, centrally located facility which enables the Park District to efficiently care for their ballfields, open space, etc.
The 26,000 SF facility houses vehicle bays for the District’s fleet department, repair and maintenance shops, as well as space for the Park District Police. Space is also available for the public, including a lobby and vestibule with restrooms, meeting room and an outdoor picnic patio.
Honoring the Park District’s commitment to the environment, sustainable design practices were incorporated throughout the facility.
