PROJECT DESCRIPTION
As a result of a feasibility study conducted by Williams Architects/Aquatics  and Pros Consulting in November of 2009, Williams Architects/Aquatics designed a Multi-Generational Recreation Center / Indoor Pool Facility located at Ohio University – Zanesville Campus.  The  facility which is currently under construction facility will feature: Eight (8) Lane 25M Lap and 25Y Competition Lap Pool, Leisure and Therapy Pool, Health / Fitness / Wellness, Special Population Fitness, Group Exercise / Studio Rooms, Multi-Purpose Rooms, Walking Track, associated Locker / Changing Facilities, Child Care  and general support, spaces.  The MRC is a collaboration of public and private partnerships between Ohio University – Zanesville, Genesis Healthcare Systems, The Muskingum County Foundation and the Zanesville YMCA.  Furthermore, the facility features a re-purposed 2 court recreational and Ohio University competitive gymnasium.
