PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Schaumburg Park District is home to Atcher Island, a tropical themed water park. Kids can splash in the spray ground, take a spin in the ‘bowl slide’, speed down the flume slide, or relax in the leisure pool.

To ensure everyone has enough energy to fully enjoy the park, the concession area features an outdoor grill. The unmistakable grilling smell wafts throughout the facility. Moving the grill outside the concession booth opens up another food line minimizing time spent in line.

The facility also houses men’s and women’s locker rooms, restroom facilities, offices and storage for the entire facility.
