PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Gately Park, in the Chicago Pullman neighborhood, will be getting a new indoor track facility. The facility is designed to host national competitions and feature a 200-meter hydraulically banked track with six lanes, a warm-up area, separate sprint lanes, a throwing cage, long jump and high jump space and seating for 3,500 people. In addition to the track components, the new facility will house “After School Matters” which offers Chicago teens innovative out-of-school activities. Program spaces include dance studios, a teaching kitchen, basketball / volleyball courts, laboratories, and multi-purpose rooms.
