St. Mark's Episcopal Church
Master Plan/Addition/Remodel
Glen Ellyn, IL
The 14,000-square-foot addition to the campus of St. Mark's Episcopal Church houses classrooms, a gift shop and a new parish hall. The new building reflects the gothic-reference architecture of the church's existing nave.
Design development involved a close study of the stone used in the existing building exteriors, and diligent material sourcing efforts to locate an appropriate match. In addition to aesthetic concerns, meeting Americans with Disabilities Act requirements also was addressed in the facility's design
