PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The J. H. Knippen Trust Building, located at 135 – 145 Hale Street, was in need of repair / restoration. The Knippen’s wanted to recreate the original atmosphere of this historic 1920’s building to maintain the charm of historic downtown Wheaton.

The building now houses a restaurant, numerous retail stores and several apartments on the second level.
