Williams Architects Providing Services for Champaign Park District New Aquatics Facility

Carol Stream, Ill. – Williams Architects, a Carol Stream, Ill., architectural firm that specializes in recreational facilities design, has been retained by the Champaign Park District in Illinois to perform master planning and design work for a new outdoor recreational aquatics facility to be constructed in the community.  The project will involve reconstructing the existing Centennial Park Sholem Pool to yield the new 1,500-bather aquatic facility.

“Through this project, the forward-thinking leaders of the Champaign Park District are endeavoring to provide valuable recreation opportunities for park patrons to enjoy in years to come,” comments Williams Principal and Chief Executive Officer Michael T. Williams.  “The design, in turn, will be developed to address current and future District recreational needs identified in the master plan.”

Originally established in 1974 and reorganized in 1994, Williams Architects serve a range of clients in diverse markets, including municipal, park and recreation, religious and corporate.  For more information, visit www.williams-architects.com.
